Following is a brief summary of what Community Action did this past term with your kind donations and generosity we
have changed lives. Thank you all for your support.
July 20, 2009 - IWOF gave a donation of $120 plus some supplies to Spirit of Women “Wish List Project”.
We Hear You Foundation: This is a nonprofit organization dedicated to provide support for oral
deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) children in the Central Valley.
July 23, 2009 & April 30 2010 – Community Action delivered more than 500 pieces of clothing to Fresno City College-Suit
Up For Success.
Suit Up For Success: The purpose of this program is to
help students that have completed any one of the short term programs with clothing suitable for their job interview and workplace.
September 27, 2009 - IWOF gave a donation of $300++
to Children’s Hospital of Central California-“Change Bandit Project”
Change Bandit: This project helps support Children’s Hospital of Central California in their mission to provide
high quality, comprehensive health care services to children, regardless of their ability to pay.
October 05, 2009 - With IWOF kind donations and generosity
we made Operation Paperback a GREAT success. We mailed 668 books to Our American Troops deployed overseas.
October 31, 2009 - Community Action delivered
500++ pounds of food to the Salvation Army.
December 19, 2009 - Community Action delivered 65 Christmas Stockings to Spirit of Children.
March 29, 2010 - Community Action delivered
60 Easter Baskets to Spirit of Children.
